Rescue of two Japanese on Mt.Cook

December 5, 2008 Rescued from the clouds: Two Japanese climbers were stranded for six days just below the summit of Mt. Cook, New Zealand’s highest peak. One died before the weather allowed the other one to be rescued by helicopter.
